Host for UK’s leading tech awards announced

The host for the inaugural Go:Tech Awards has been announced.

Tech journalist, news presenter and host of Channel 5’s The Gadget Show, Georgie Barrat, will host the annual event, which will be held at Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa in Bristol on November 22nd 2018.

Having only recently joined The Gadget Show, Georgie has written about the tech sector for a range of publications including The Mirror, Marie Claire and the Huffington, and has spoken on the subject for the likes of ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC.

Georgie has also presented the Tonight Show on ITV where she investigated how hackers could put your home security in danger. She has appeared regularly on ITV’s Weekend as their resident tech expert, talking Aled Jones through the latest gadgets, whilst also working alongside the production team to help source and create the features.

The Go:Tech Awards are a celebration of the UK’s tech pioneers and innovators, and with the shortlist recently announced, the excitement for the event is starting to build.
