Tech Scale-Up of the Year

This award is open to a high-growth tech business operating in any vertical.

You’re eligible to enter this award if you have a minimum turnover of £2m and have been trading for a minimum of three years.

To enter you will be required to submit an 800-word entry that gives judges information about the following points:

  • You have achieved an average annualised return of at least 20% in the past 3 years
  • You have at least ten employees 
  • You can demonstrate a clear plan to achieve future growth 
  • You will have to share your financial performance 
  • You will have a plan that demonstrates your commitment to employee development
  • You will be able to show how you are embracing sustainability

    Can you please tell the judges about your future plans for the business? What is your long-term vision to create wealth, employment and make a positive difference? (Maximum of 1500 characters)

    Entries should be submitted in a Word document (or similar) and uploaded using the specified field

    Hints and Tips

    Entries that ‘show’ rather than ‘tell’ will stand a better chance of recognition and becoming shortlisted. Don’t just say your business is the best but demonstrate why.

    Clearly outlined entries using bullet points and sub-headlines will be easier for judges to read and analyse. Some awards will also require evidence of financial performance.

    Please note that when assessing your entry a judge may want to call you to discuss elements of your entry or visit your business, so please provide your full contact details. All entries are subject to our terms and conditions and judges’ decisions will be final.

    Please note: If you are shortlisted, at least one member of the company must be present on the evening to collect the award.
