PropTech company’s service to create extra income

Host management service, Airsorted, has opened a new South West office, bringing its hassle-free service to property owners and landlords across Bristol and Bath.

As the first host management service of its kind to have a dedicated local team working across both Bristol and Bath, Airsorted will support homeowners in the South West who wish to use their property to generate a flexible extra income and help professional landlords to maximise revenue on their property portfolios.

Founded by James Jenkins-Yates in 2015, Airsorted has attracted top talent from some of the biggest players in the tech industry such as Uber, Google, TransferWise and Deliveroo.

The growth of the prop-tech company into the South West follows the successful completion of a Series A funding round worth £5 million to support UK and global expansion.

Alongside Bristol & Bath, Airsorted’s current roster of cities includes London, Edinburgh, Paris, Brighton, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, with the aim of growing to 38 new cities globally by the end of 2019.

From the new South West office, Airsorted’s Bristol-based team will directly handle the management of properties in collaboration with the owner to provide a 24-hour hassle-free hosting solution.

Airsorted’s Bristol & Bath City Manager, William Caiger said: “Home-sharing continues to grow in popularity and is one of the key contributors to the ever-growing sharing economy, because it is a great solution for both the host property and those looking for a night, a weekend, a few weeks or a few months property let.

“Launching an office in the South West with a Bristol team of property management experts is an exciting step for Airsorted. We are the first host management service to have a physical presence in the city meaning we can provide a very personalised and flexible service to professional landlords and those who want to flexibly share their home from time to time.

“We like to think we’re challenging the perception of tech start-ups – yes we’re problem-solvers and we’re highly analytical but excellent customer service remains at the heart of our culture. We’re committed to making a tangible impact here in the South West and we’ve started as we mean to go on using local suppliers to deliver housekeeping, laundering and more. We look forward to hearing from locals who are looking to make some extra income on a flexible basis, and those looking for a consistent, manageable solution for their property portfolio.”
